This clinical case describes the treatment of a patient who requires an implant-supported rehabilitation in sector 2. The analysis of the clinical and 3D examinations shows that the patient is in class 1: the subsinus height ranges from 2 to 5 mm. The osseous crest is wide enough and does not need to be increased. The crest does not present any horizontal or vertical gap. Considering all these data, implants can be placed the same day as the sinus bone graft is performed, according to the established classification.
In this chapter, we will also deal with another case describing step by step the lateral access technique to the maxillary sinus.
