Reconstruction of endodontically treated teeth has been a recurrent theme in the literature for several years (Goto et al., 2009; Ree et al., 2010; d'Incau et al., 2011; Faria et al., 2011). Even though no consensus on the methods really seems to come out from various studies, it is however admitted that the loss of substance consecutive to the endodontic treatment is the main biomechanical dental lesion while the chemical and physical modifications only play a minor role in its prognosis (Dietschi et al., 2007; 2008).
