The PathFile TM : a new series of rotary nickel titanium instruments for mechanical pre-flaring and creating the glide path - ROS - 2010 - Tome 39 - N°4

The concept of canal patency remains essential during all steps of canal preparation. The use of rotary nickel-titanium instruments and continuous rotation is no exception to the rule. The presented new instruments, PathFile TM, are used as soon as the initial preparation to create "preflaring" thus decreasing stress transmitted to the used rotary instruments. In respect to endodontic objectives, fractures of instruments, ledges and foramen transportations can then be avoided.
