The Greater Taper System presents several new advantages for the root canal preparation, to increase the cleaning of the apical part of the root with large tapering instruments, with total respect of Canal Anatomy. The Greater Taper Endodontic Treatment system has many functional advantages in the clinical endodontic practice. Its shaping files have been proven to make a predefined and reproductible taper preparation. The instruments, the GT files, have variable-pitch and variable-sharpness flutes to maximize cut-ability, minimize threading, in the respect of endodontic root canal therapy concept.
