The Greater Taper System presents several new avantages for the root canal preparation, to increase the clearing of the apical part of the root with large tape ring instruments, with total respect of Canal Anatomy. The Greater Taper Endodontic Treatment system has many functional advantages in the clinical endodontic practice. Its shaping files have been proven to make a predefined and reproductible taper preparation. The instruments, the GT files, have variable-pitch and variable-sharpness flutes to maximize cut-ability, minimise threading, in the respect of endodontic root canal therapy concept.
